“Evidently, in the midst of the darkness and struggles, women remain tall and resilient that consistently hold the role in any societal development action and goals. This is a celebration of all women exerting their choices, taking chances to make voice be heard, and benefiting successfully from the trailblazing changes,” Dr. Fuentes added.

The Institution’s annual celebration of Women’s Month was spearheaded by the Office of the Gender and Development (GAD) headed by Ms. Cecil C. Lofranco, GAD Focal Person together with the DSSC Supreme Student Government (SSG). The event, which was streamed live on DSSC Facebook page, successfully achieved the objective to inspire and empower women and girls to be agents of change to contribute in promoting gender equality and the empowerment of all women.
