DSSC inks MoA with SKIA for DSSC SMART Agri Radio


The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes and Atty. Datu Michael O. Mastura, President/CEO of Sultan Muhammad Dipatuan Kudarat Islamic Academy Foundation, Inc. (SKIA) for the affiliation of DSSC SMART Agri Radio in SKIA Broadcasting Center and FM Radio Station. It was held at DSSC Conference Hall on May 23, 2022.


The DSSC SMART Agri Radio with Frequency Modulation (FM) 103.9 is a non-commercial, non-partisan, and non-religious radio station of the college that was funded by the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office XI (DA-RFO XI) to promote the Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program among others. DSSC SMART Agri FM Radio will be aired through the partnership of SKIA Broadcasting Center and FM Radio Station, a grantee of a Congressional Franchise under R.A. 8681 with the power and authority to construct, install, establish, operate and maintain for commercial purposes and in the public interest, radio stations anywhere in the Philippines where frequencies and/or channels are still available for radio broadcasting, with the corresponding technological auxiliaries or facilities, special broadcast and other program and distribution services and relay stations.


The MoA signing was also witnessed by Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog Jr., DSSC Chief Administrative Officer, and Atty. Ishak V. Mastura, SKIA Corporate Secretary.


Present also were the key personnel of the College, Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, Director for Instruction; Dr. Cherry P. Roxas, Dean of the Institute of Business, Education, and Governance; Prof. Rae Katherine D.
