May 29, 2023’s Monday convocation at the DSSC gymnasium gave a timely values focused on ‘Humility’ amidst the celebration of the recent victory of the college in the last Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI), where the college dominated the field with an overall rating 93.95%, surpassing the other participating HEIs in the region.

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes said that she was at a loss for words at the exemplary performance of the students of Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) during the RAATI on May 27, 2023. She also reminded everyone that no matter the achievements in life, we must stay humble as we strive towards the better future, as an individual, and as an institution.

An on-the-spot Certificate of recognition was awarded to Mr. Gary Dave I. Escoton, DSSC NSTP Director, for his contribution in this latest achievement, along with his constituents and the student officers.

Engr. Clara A. Acebes, DSSC Human Resources Management Officer, introduced six (6) newly hired employees, who took oath under the administration of Dr. Fuentes, officiated by the president herself.

The Institute of Computing and Engineering Technology (ICET) updates were delivered by Prof. Domingo V. Origenes, Jr. and Razel R. Vallecer, MoP. ICET also sponsored this Monday convocation. (A.C)
