Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) welcomed Davao de Oro State College (DdOSC) on June 13, 2023, for a face-to-face Benchmarking visit of DdOSC with the college at the DSSC Boardroom.

The visit presented an opportunity for DSSC to highlight its best practices and share its knowledge and experiences with DdOSC. The explicit discussion of the visit revolved around the topic of crafting an Internationalization Zone Plan and Manual of Operations, development and content of the Student Handbook, and best practices of the Student Affairs and Internationalization Office.

The visit aims to promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing between DSSC and DdOSC by sharing the Institution’s best practices to DdOSC in improving practices and services, enhancing the quality of higher education in the region. Additionally, this benchmarking will further strengthen the relationship between DSSC and DdOSC, paving the way for more future collaborative affairs.

Attended by DSSCs pool of administrators and pertinent personnel led by the college President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, herself, DSSC welcomed DdOSCs Arvin Jhon Abadiez, Guidance Head, Weldritz R.
