Davao del Sur State College President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, attended the ceremonial opening of the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week 2023 (RSTIW), on November 9, 2023, at the Atrium, New City Hall of Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

A gathering of minds, a celebration of innovation, and a showcase of advancements in Science, Technology, and Innovation within the region, this year’s event banners ‘Siyensa, Teknolohiya, at Inobasyon: Kabalikat sa Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Kinabukasan,’ underscoring the pivotal role that Science, Technology, and Innovation play in shaping a prosperous and resilient future.

The activity will feature exhibits that highlight the core concepts of promoting human well-being, wealth creation, wealth protection, and sustainability. Exhibits on display will include DOST-PAGASA's Mobile Planetarium, Science Centrum Exhibits, Robotics Display, Gamezone, and STI Program Displays.

Dr. Fuentes joined other SUC presidents, representatives, and esteemed leaders of the country in the opening ceremony.
