PRBFT Conducts Inspection at
Davao Del Sur State College's
BS in Food Technology Program
Pursuant to its Regulatory Function, the Professional Regulatory Board of Food Technology (PRBFT) conducted a monitoring and inspection of the Davao Del Sur State College BS in Food Technology Program. Present during the Inspection/Monitoring are Hon. Anthony Sales, Hon. Remedios Baclig, Dr. Lourdes Cesar from CHED XI, and Tomato Demegillo Jr. from PRC XI.
The Team toured the DSSC facilities with the assistance of Dr. Cherry Ann P. Roxas, Dr. Juan P. Agudera Jr., College Librarian Rosedilla Janson, RLSC, OVPAA, and IARS Staffs. They visited the Cacao Isotope and Sensory Laboratory and Coffee Cupping Laboratory and showed the newly acquired equipments. Sir Kris Tan also showed the team about the future construction of the DSSC Central Laboratory and Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory. They also visited the TLE laboratory and the DevCom Building.
The Inspection/Monitoring Team provided insights, and recommendations to further improve the facilities that can be utilized by the students and the College as a whole. The Program Head, Jan Irv Bitoon also presented the updates about the program by sharing information about the enrollees, current faculty, library holdings, facilities, and equipment of DSSC-BSFT.
