Davao del Sur State College organized and hosted the 1st International Research and Extension Conference on Business, Education, Technology, and Agriculture (BETA 101) on December 11, 2023, at the Big 8 Corporate Hotel in Digos City, Davao del Sur.

The conference brought together researchers, educators, and professionals to present and discuss their latest research findings, innovations, and practical applications in business, education, technology, and agriculture. Furthermore, experts in these fields were invited as Resource Speakers, Plenary Speakers, and Evaluators.

At the event, winners were announced for the best paper, best paper presenter, and best poster competitions after a series of questions and answers between the presenters and evaluators. Additionally, the presenters received recommendations for improving their papers.

The evaluators emphasized the need to go beyond documenting the findings and instead, disseminate them to a broader audience, both locally and internationally.

The convening of this event was a testament to the enthusiasm and dedication of individuals in the fields of research, extension, and education, who tirelessly strive towards bringing about constructive and enduring transformations.
