Davao del Sur State College attended the Regional Gender and Development (GAD) Summit 2023, hosted by Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) and the Commission on Higher Education - Region XI, at Mati City, Davao Oriental on December 12-13, 2023.

Bannering ‘Beyond Mainstreaming of Gender and Development in Region XI’s Higher Education Institutions’, the summit was attended by over 100 participants from various public and private higher education institutions in Davao Region, including collaborative partners: Davao del Norte State College, Davao de Oro State College, Davao del Sur State College, SPAMAST, and the University of Southeastern Philippines.

The event is in consonance to the 18-day campaign to end violence against women (Nov. 25 – Dec. 12, 2023) wherein the SUCs in Davao Region will renew its VOW to end VAW.
