DSSC joins 2nd Davao Occidental Multidisciplinary Research Conference 

 

 

 

 
 

 

The 2nd Davao Occidental Multidisciplinary Research Conference was successfully held on February 7, 2024, in Malita, Davao Occidental. The event hosted by SPAMAST State College gave the researchers, educators, and students the opportunity to present their papers.



The purpose of the event is to present the results of the various studies of the researchers and find out the possible recommendations that could be an exceptional contribution in making programs and policies that can help address solutions to common problems in society.


Three esteemed faculty members of DSSC showcased their academic dedication and presented their papers. Dr. Juan P. Agudera Jr. and Prof. Richie D. Miguel presented their papers under Thematic Area 1: Agriculture, Fisheries, Natural Resources, and Resilience; and Prof. Pedro M. Mandrial Jr. presented his paper under Thematic 2: Social, Cultural Development, and Health and Awareness.


The study of Dr. Agudera entitled “Innovating Liquid Trichoderma (LT) and Field Testing Against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Cubense (Foc) Infecting Cavendish Banana” bagged the 1st Best Paper award under Thematic 1.


The event was also attended by Dr. Cherry Ann P. Roxas, RDI Director, and Dr. Graciela Caballero, who acted as members of the panel of judges.



The conference was participated by elite researchers from the different SUCs in the country.
