Davao del Sur State College representatives, led by DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, attend the 2024 FuturesPhil Conference from August 22-24, 2024, at the Manila Prince Hotel, Metro Manila.

This event brings together scholars, administrators, academicians and researchers from across the Philippines to discuss the role of futures thinking in connecting policy approaches at the national and international levels. Esteemed speakers and futurists will also participate, sharing their technical expertise in futures thinking and experience integrating these concepts within their respective fields and industries.

Alongside Dr. Fuentes are International Affairs and Relations Office Head, Dr. Ana Marie Matalines; Prof. Jayson R. Pucot; Prof. Rikka Bianca Condes; and Board Sec. I, Marylie Noran.

By taking part in this 3-day event, DSSC aims to pioneer new possibilities for its students and community through exploring the opportunities presented by applying futures methodologies.
