DSSC inks MOA with the Department of Agriculture

 

 

 

 

The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XI- through the farm and fisheries clustering and consolidation program is currently conducting its 2nd Regional F2C2 Cluster summit with the theme “ F2C2: Towards Greater Inclusive Agribusiness Development in the Region” on September 25-27, 2024 at the Grande Regal Hotel, Lanang, Davao City.

 

The summit’s main objective is to assist farming and fishing clusters in knowing their markets and producing products that fit the market demand and a venue for finding untapped opportunities from different government and non-government agencies beneficial to farmers and fisherfolks.

 

DSSC President, Dr. Augie Fuentes together with the Director of Extension and Community Relations, Dr. Quennie Almerez attended the MOA signing to grace the event as they strengthen their ties as partners for agricultural and economic development in Davao Region.

 

The DSSC community headed by Dr. Fuentes are committed to continue their support and partnership with the Department of Agriculture. Through the college’s major commodity-based programs and projects focused in Bamboo production and processing, seaweed value-adding, coffee and cacao product development, mango smart program among others, we will be involved in the clustering and consolidating of farmer and fisher groups to enhance farm productivity and improve income.

 

In collaboration, we can form strong partnerships… leading to a thriving farming and fishing communities.
