Following the conferment of the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Award by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) and held a special recognition ceremony to honor the departments who played vital roles in these accomplishments on April 7, 2025 at DSSC Gymnasium.

 

The recognition ceremony inspired us to continue fostering a culture of quality assurance, academic excellence, and service in line with DSSC’s mission as an institution of higher learning.

 

DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, Vice Presidedent for Academic Affairs Dr. Siverlyn Camposano and Vice President for Admin and Finance, Dr. Luciano Nasibog, Jr. led the awarding of certificates of recognition to the departments and support units whose collaborative efforts contributed to maintaining the highest standards in pre-service teacher education and achieving an Outstanding Rating in the evaluation of Financial and Physical Performance, attaining the highest ranking among all Region XI SUCs in the Department of Budget and Management’s CY 2024 Agency Performance Review.

 

The recognition ceremony served as an inspiration to continue fostering a culture of quality assurance, academic excellence, and service in line with DSSC’s mission as an institution of higher learning.

 

The ceremony concluded with a salo-salo, a joyous gathering where employees came together to celebrate the collective achievement.
