Program educational Objectives (PEO)

       Program Educational Objectives and Relationships to Institution Mission 

The DSSC graduates of BSABE Program, after three to five (3-5) years can;

        A. provide leadership in planning, implementing , and monitoring ABE projects and programs;

        B. occupy supervisory positions in private and public organizations ; locally and internationally;

        C. own and or manage ABE-based business enterprises;

        D. Pursue advance studies in ABE and emerging related fields; and

        E. occupy responsible positions in ABE and evaluation.

GOALS

        ABE aims to provide quality services, professional and technical education in engineering, emerging technologies in agriculture and bio-system, computer studies and information technologies, technical and vocational skills,

and allied fields; produce globally competent professionals with technical proficiency and sense societal responsibility, and to promote research development. extension and training, and production in the fields of engineering, communication and computing infrastructures.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

        1. apply knowledge of mathematics and science to solve complex AB engineering problems;

        2.design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data;

        3. design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, in accordance  with standards;

        4. functions in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams;

        5. Identify, formulate. and solve complex engineering problems;

        6. Understand professional and ethical responsibility;

        7. Communicate effectively complex AB engineering activities with engineering community and with societal at large;

        8.  Understand the impact of AB engineering solution in global, economic. environmental, and societal context;

        9. Recognized the need for and engage in life-long learning;

        10. Know contemporary issues;

        11. Use Techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for AB engineering practice;

        12. Know and understand engineering and management principles as a member and leader of a team, and to manage projects in a multidisciplinary environment; and 

        13. Understand at least specialized field of ABE practice.
