Davao del Sur State College conducted an exit conference with the Commission on Audit for the Financial Audit of Calendar Year 2025 at the DSSC Boardroom on March 17, 2026. The meeting served as the final stage of the audit process, where the audit team presented its observations and discussed them with the College officials.
The COA delegation was headed by Supervising Auditor Arleen S. Betonio, together with Audit Team Leader Karen H. Navarez and Audit Team Members Allan Fritz R. Mesiona and Junelle A. Talibutab. Representing the College were President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, the Vice Presidents, the Special Assistant to the President, the College Accountant, heads of offices, and other key officials.
During the conference, the audit team shared the results of their review of the College’s financial records and operations. The discussion allowed both sides to go over the findings and talk about areas where processes and documentation can still be improved.
College officials expressed their dedication to enhancing internal control systems which would ensure their financial reporting and operational procedures operate according to governmental standards. The exit conference provided the audit team and the College to review the audit results and plan their upcoming work.
The College implements this process which demonstrates its dedication to transparent resource management and public resource responsibility according to Sustainable Development Goal 16 which promotes Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
