


Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), represented by the College President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, participated in a courtesy visit to the Philippine Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, with fellow presidents of State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) on June 23, 2026.
The visit is part of the international engagement and academic leadership mission in Indonesia, led by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino. Second Secretary and Consul (Consular and Assistance-to-Nationals) of the Philippine Embassy, Glenn Joseph D. Teh, personally welcomed the delegation.
The visit helped build better connections between Philippine higher education institutions and diplomatic partners abroad, while discussing initiatives on internationalization, academic collaboration, and educational development.
DSSC remains committed to expanding its global linkages and pursuing opportunities that enrich instruction, research, extension, and internationalization efforts for the benefit of students, faculty, and stakeholders. Aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education, and SDG 17 for Partnerships for the Goals.
