In its 2nd participation in the prestigious global ranking, Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) achieved another historic milestone, securing Rank 284 Overall Ranking worldwide (up from Rank 342 in 2025).

DSSC also placed 2nd among the twelve (12) Higher Education Institutions in Davao Region that voluntarily participated in the evaluation. This achievement reflects DSSC’s steadfast commitment to fostering innovation, ethical research, and enhancing the institution’s global standing through collaborative contributions across education and community engagement.

THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) made its debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ratings 2026, placing within the 1001–1500th rank globally out of 1,603 participating universities worldwide. This milestone highlights DSSC’s initial evaluation against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals across instruction, research, and public service.

DSSC also earned notable SDG placements, ranking 401–600th for Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), 601–800th for Quality Education (SDG 4) and Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and 1001–1500th for Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). This achievement reflects the college’s ongoing dedication to weaving sustainability, inclusive learning, and community engagement into its core mission.
