Through the three-day convention, participants engaged in plenary sessions and high-level discussions focused on transformative leadership, strategic governance, innovation, internationalization, digital transformation, organizational development, human capital, and research commercialization. The discussions featured officials from various national agencies, who provided valuable policy direction and strategic insights for the continued advancement of Philippine higher education.
Through the exchange of best practices and collaborative discussions during the convention, participating institutions were encouraged to adopt responsive and future-ready approaches in delivering quality higher education and public service. This shows the role of SUCs in building innovation, strengthening governance systems, expanding strategic partnerships, and translating research and extension initiatives into meaningful societal impact.
The knowledge and insights gained from the convention will further support the College’s efforts in delivering responsive programs and services aligned with national priorities for higher education and various Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education; SDG 9 for Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure; and SDG 17 for Partnerships for Goals.
