Davao del Sur State College formally opened its renovated Mini Theater during a turnover and blessing ceremony held on December 15, 2025. The activity marked the completion of the facility upgrade and its readiness for use in academic and institutional functions.
The ceremony included the blessing of the Mini Theater and the formal turnover of the facility. The Planning and Development Office and the Business Enterprise Office assisted in the activity, which concluded with a ribbon-cutting to signify the opening of the venue.
The renovated Mini Theater will be used for classes, meetings, and cultural activities of the College. The improvement provides a more suitable space for students, faculty, and offices that regularly conduct academic and program-related events.
The project is in line with Quality Education (SDG 4) and Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9) objectives. The College has upgraded its learning environment to be more collaborative, thereby reinforcing its infrastructure for teaching and institutional activities.
