It is with pride and honor that Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) reports its outstanding performance in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026. In its 2nd participation in the prestigious global ranking, DSSC secured the 284th Overall Ranking worldwide.
DSSC also gained notable placements in key innovation categories:
- Empowerment-Based Management – Ranked 91st worldwide
- Culture/Values – Ranked 2nd worldwide
- Social Impact through Knowledge Transfer – Ranked 89th worldwide
- University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects – Ranked 85th worldwide
DSSC is ranked second among the twelve (12) Higher Education Institutions in Davao Region that have voluntarily participated and were part of the Global Top 500 Universities in the evaluation of the WURI 2026.
This confirms DSSC’s longstanding commitment to fostering innovation, ethical research, and enhancing the institution’s global image. The ranking not only recognizes the collaborative efforts and academic contributions of our esteemed faculty, administration, students, and rewarding community partners but also underscores DSSC’s dedication to its distinguished mission of excellence in education, research, and community engagement.
