DSSC Welcomes Colegio de Nabunturan

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), through the Business Enterprise Office (BEO), welcomed delegates from Colegio de Nabunturan for a benchmarking activity focused on the institutional practices, program implementation, and enterprise management strategies of the College’s Agribusiness Program and the BEO, on May 19, 2026, at the DSSC Mini Theatre.

Colegio de Nabunturan was led by its President, Dr. Jocelyn H. Hua, together with members of their academic and administrative team. The activity provided a venue for exchanging insights on agribusiness program operations, income-generating project (IGP) management, and sustainability practices being implemented by DSSC.

DSSC was represented by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, alongside the BEO Director, Dr. Eric E. Rellon, the respective IGP project leaders, the College of Business Education and Governance (CBEG) Dean, Dr. Zandro I. Ibañez, and faculty members involved in agribusiness initiatives.

Discussions highlighted best practices in agribusiness program delivery, enterprise development, and operational strategies that support sustainable income-generating projects of the College.

As part of the benchmarking activity, the delegates also visited selected DSSC enterprise and innovation sites, including the DSSC Foodpark Project headed by Dr. Eric E. Rellon, the Brewneversity Project headed by Dr. Regie Patagoc, the DSSC Kapoc Extension Campus for the e-Bamboo Hub Project headed by Dr. Graciela L. Caballero, and the Information and Communications Technology Center for the e-HRIS Project led by Dr. Felomino P. Alba.

The activity showcases DSSC’s openness to welcome other institutions for cooperation and best-practices exchange, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education, and SDG 17 for Partnerships for the Goals.
