DSSC was placed within the 1001–1500 bracket among 1,603 universities worldwide, marking the College’s first appearance in the global assessment.
The College also recorded placements in several Sustainable Development Goal categories, ranking within the 601–800 bracket for Quality Education (SDG 4), 401–600 for Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), 601–800 for Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), and 1001–1500 for Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
The Times Higher Education Impact Ratings assess universities based on their contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through teaching, research, community engagement, and institutional practices.
The results mirror DSSC’s ongoing effort to weave sustainability principles into instruction, research, extension, and innovation. They also highlight programs and activities that support inclusive education, community development, and collaboration with various sectors.
As a first-time participant in the rankings, DSSC now sits alongside higher education institutions worldwide that are assessed on how their work helps confront social, economic, and environmental issues through education and public service.
