Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) is currently participating in the 3rd World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026 at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (DIT), Germany held on September 23-25.
Representing DSSC at the three-day international conference is Dr. Harold E. Fuentes, a faculty member of the College of Mathematics, Arts, and Sciences (CMAS) and DSSC Medical Coordinator, and a proponent of the college’s winning entry in the WURI 2026 Global Rankings.
More than representing the college, Fuentes is set to present DSSC’s innovative work with university leaders, researchers, innovators, and higher education practitioners from different countries.
DSSC’s participation in the conference is part of the internationalization efforts, providing opportunities to share institutional practices, exchange knowledge, and establish linkages with higher education institutions from around the world.
This international engagement aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals, covering areas of education, innovation, institutional development, and international cooperation.
