DSSC CIDS Conducts eDalaw+ User Training at BJMP Digos

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), through the FamConnect Team of the College of Information and Digital Sciences (CIDS) conducted the eDalaw+ Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) Visitation System User Training on October 2, 2026, at the Male Dormitory of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Digos City District Jail.

The training focused on orienting BJMP jail officers on system management, user verification, and administrative features to support the secure and efficient implementation of the eDalaw+ platform.

Meanwhile, family members of PDLs received hands-on guidance on navigating the platform, particularly in scheduling and accessing virtual visitation services.

The activity forms part of DSSC CIDS’ efforts to leverage technology in improving visitation processes and facilitating communication between PDLs and their families.

This initiative contributes to United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions by promoting inclusive and accessible institutions and strengthening community-oriented services through digital solutions.
