Davao del Sur State College held its Management Review on January 22 to 23, 2026 at Casa de Solana in Barangay Bulacan, Malalag, Davao del Sur. The activity gathered College officials to look into current institutional concerns and to review systems related to quality, planning, and operations.
The participants held discussions about policy matters and performance issues. The team conducted a review of the Quality Policy to determine its current applicability. The evaluation process included both client feedback and the outcomes of all internal and external audits. The academic and administrative issues raised during the meeting helped to create a list of problems that required further investigation or changes.
Participants revisited the Strategic Plan and Quality Objectives and discussed updates where needed. The performance of external and internal providers, including supply and procurement services, was also reviewed. Discussions included the availability of resources such as personnel, funds, equipment, and materials.
The review was conducted to provide recommendations for improving the Quality Management System. Follow up actions from the previous management review were noted, and a schedule for the next review was set. The activity allowed College officials to take stock of ongoing work and agree on steps that need to be addressed moving forward.
The Management Review supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by helping ensure that internal systems support teaching and learning. It also relates to Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) through regular review, accountability, and internal coordination.
