She encouraged employees to view their work from a higher perspective by considering it as a calling, making it more meaningful and less of a feeling mundane and routine.

NSTP Coordinator Raji-Un Pedtamanan shared updates from their office, highlighting the ongoing and upcoming initiatives of their office, such as donation drives, tree planting activities, outreach programs, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit improvements, and strengthened community linkages. The update also highlighted achievements related to the recent PAATI competition and Fancy Drill performances.

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Siverlyn M. Dr. Camposano also discussed the practice of proper workplace protocols, particularly in addressing colleagues and supervisors professionally as part of the institutional readiness for university status.

Fresh from an international engagement, DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes expressed her gratitude to the office heads and employees for their dedication and continuous efforts in managing their respective offices. She also extended her belated Mother’s Day greetings to all mothers and mother figures in the institution. In her message, Dr. Fuentes shared updates from her recent Taiwan escapades with other SUC presidents. She also bid her well wishes for the students who joined the SEA Teachers Program in partnership with Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA). She likewise acknowledged the College’s latest achievement in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) rankings, recognizing the collective efforts of the DSSC community in advancing innovation and global recognition.

By holding regular Monday Convocations, DSSC not only advances its support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education, but also reaffirms its commitment to nurturing a compassionate, responsible, and purpose-driven community. Each convocation inspires collective action and ongoing growth, ensuring DSSC continues to positively impact its stakeholders and society at large.
