Davao del Sur State College took part in the Information Session on the Platform for Graduate Employability and Alumni Tracer Studies organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office XI. The session was held on February 2, 2026 at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Davao. Representatives from higher education institutions in the Davao Region attended the activity.
The session discussed the use of a digital platform for alumni tracer studies and employability monitoring. The discussion focused on how institutions can collect and manage graduate data and use the information for reporting and planning. The platform was presented as a tool to support CHED requirements related to alumni tracking.
The activity also included a signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between SeeMesoL and participating institutions. The agreement covered cooperation in the use of the platform for alumni tracer studies and employability monitoring. Institutions were given an overview of the next steps related to coordination and use of the system.
DSSC’s participation forms part of its ongoing work in strengthening alumni records and graduate monitoring. The session provided reference points for improving data collection and coordination related to graduate outcomes.
The activity is related to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) through improved academic monitoring and Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through better tracking of graduate employment outcomes.
