The Best Practice Presentation was delivered by students John Rey R. Sto. Domingo, Christian Dave D. Navarro, and Jieselle Jane A. Tangub. The team presented the program’s implementation that features its strategies and contributions to community development, particularly in promoting sustainability, empowerment, and collaboration with partner communities.

The Poster Competition was presented by Mary Carlie Nicole Blanco, Yeshia Jane Agnes Tio, and Benjie Gujilde through a vivid and well-structured visual output that outlines the program’s objectives, processes, and results, earning the highest recognition from the panel of judges.

These students were mentored under the guidance of the Faculty Coach and MangoTayo! Program Leader Asst. Prof. Rhea Mae L. Perito, with support from the Extension Communication and Services Office (ECSO) Director Dr. Queenie Lyn G. Almerez.

These recognitions show DSSC’s continuous efforts in community engagement through programs supporting local development and knowledge sharing, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 2 for Zero Hunger, SDG for Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 9 for Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
