DSSC Leads eHRMIS Launch at Sulu State University

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), through its Information Communication and Technology Center (ICTC), together with the College of Information and Digital Sciences (CIDS) Dean, Dr. Felomino P. Alba, completed the technology transfer of the electronic Human Resource Management Information System (eHRMIS) to Sulu State University (SSU) in SSU, Jolo, Sulu Province, Region IX on March 28, 2026.

The launching was held during the celebration of SSU’s 44th Founding Anniversary, and was witnessed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis and SSU President Dr. Charisma Ututalum, CESE.

The eHRMIS aims to support SSU in managing its human resource processes through digital systems, helping improve efficiency in administrative operations. The activity also highlights the ongoing collaboration between state universities in sharing systems and practices.

DSSC continues to align with the CHED ACHIEVE agenda through this initiative, supporting the digital transformation efforts of SUCs and higher education institutions, while also aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 9 for Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 for Partnerships for the Goals.
