Davao del Sur State College welcomed twenty newly appointed personnel during an oath-taking ceremony last August 10, 2026, held as part of the college’s regular Monday Convocation. The batch is composed of six teaching personnel and fourteen non-teaching personnel.
The fourteen non-teaching positions came out of the Revised Organization and Staffing Standards Phase II, which opened additional plantilla slots to meet the college’s growing administrative demands. The six teaching appointments were made separately to fill instructional needs.
College President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes congratulated the new employees and asked each one to carry their duties with integrity and accountability from day one.
The appointments supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) by adding to the college’s capacity to deliver quality education and services, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by creating stable public sector employment, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening the institution’s ability to sustain collaborations with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
