Empowering Researchers: RDI Holds Orientation for Newly Approved Projects

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) through its Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Office has conducted an Orientation on Forms for Newly Approved Research Projects, on March 12, 2026 at the DSSC Mini Theater.

Project proponents with incoming research to be implemented for 2026 gathered to attend the activity, with the session facilitated by Ms. Myleen Robiños, Planning Office III, who discussed and provided guidance on the required documentation and producers.

The orientation intends to ensure the smooth implementation of newly approved research projects by equipping participants with essential knowledge in project planning, monitoring, and reporting. Participants were guided in preparing comprehensive project plans, and in properly completing quarterly monitoring and reporting forms in line with RDI standards. 

Through this discussion, accurate documentation, timeline adherence, and accountability in project implementation was emphasized, resulting in participants gaining clearer understanding of reporting requirements, and better preparation in implementing their projects effectively.

This orientation has strengthened the consistency and quality of DSSCs researcher in project implementation, and fully supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).
