Students of Davao del Sur State College are back on campus today, January 19, 2026, Monday, as the second semester of Academic Year 2025–2026 officially begins. Early in the morning, students line up to check their schedules and proceed to classrooms and laboratories as academic activities resume.
Faculty members report to their respective colleges, with morning classes starting through course introductions, class orientations, and initial lessons. Classrooms and common areas gradually fill as students return to regular on campus routines.
Campus offices remain busy throughout the morning. Academic units, the Registrar, and the Office of Student Affairs and Services accommodate students processing enrollment adjustments, requesting documents, and clarifying class schedules. Transactions continue as students complete pending requirements.
Movement across the campus is steady as students go between buildings for their classes. During the breaks, a few students occupy the outdoor areas and the food park, getting acquainted with their schedules and reuniting with their peers.
As the semester moves forward, the College continues to carry out its academic programs in line with its mandate to provide accessible and inclusive education. The start of classes supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) through the continuation of instruction and student support services while regular academic activities are ongoing across the campus.
