DSSC Joins 39th AACCUP Annual National Conference

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) participated in the 39th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Annual National Conference and General Assembly at the Century Park Hotel, Manila, on March 24-26, 2026.

Under the theme “Advancing QA: Research, Science, and Technology for Transformative Education and Sustainable Development”, the three-day event was attended by various SUC Presidents from different Institutions, Quality Assurance (QA) directors, and educators nationwide, giving a platform for collaboration and innovation in higher education.

Representing DSSC was the college President, Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, who was joined by the QA Director, Roayda S. Hasim, alongside DSSC Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Siverlyn M. Camposano, and Director for Instruction and Curriculum Dr. Amelie E. Trinidad. DSSC joined multiple plenary sessions, panel discussions, and the General Assembly, where key issues such as harnessing science and technology for teaching and institutional performance were tackled, along with discussions on fostering international partnerships and developing policy recommendations for national education reforms.

By joining this assembly, DSSC shows its commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence, and its continuous support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education, and SDG 17 for partnership for the Goals.
