Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) profoundly celebrates a major milestone as it receives the 2025 Silver Cluster Award, during the Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) Presidents’ Summit and General Assembly at the Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City, on March 25-26, 2026.
The award was given in recognition of DSSC’s contribution to Intellectual Property development and innovation initiative under the ITSO Network.
Represented by the College President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, who was joined by the Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Office Director Dr. Cherry Ann P. Roxas, and Intellectual Property (IP) Coordinator Rio Jean R. Molina, DSSC also participated in the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) marking the college’s inclusion in the Philippine Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC) network, supporting upcoming collaboration among institutions and strengthening efforts in research and technology transfer.
Despite joining the ITSO network only in June 2025, DSSC has already demonstrated significant strides in intellectual property development, research commercialization, and innovation initiatives.
This also shows the college’s support for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 9 for Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and SDG 17 for Partnership for the Goals.
