



Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) – College of Education (CTEd) successfully conducted a Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting on the proposed enhanced curricula for several programs in the college on June 26, 2026, via Zoom.
The proposed curriculum for the following programs, namely: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) major in Home Economics, Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in Mathematics, and BSEd major in Science programs, was presented during the meeting, followed by an open forum where stakeholders shared recommendations and insights.
Among the notable suggestions were the integration of DepEd Intentions, Learning Experience, Assessment, and Ways Forward (ILAW) Lesson Planning Framework and the exploration of partnerships with DepEd to offer foreign language courses through qualified Mandarin and Spanish speakers.
The meeting’s target was to ensure that the programs remain responsive to the current educational standards, industry needs, and evolving demands of the teaching profession, and was attended by representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd), along with alumni, faculty members, students, and college officials to review and validate the proposed curricular enhancements.
The consultative meeting gathered valuable inputs that will guide the refinement of the College’s Teacher Education curricula, making the College’s commitment to producing competent, innovative, and globally competitive future educators stronger.
This meeting supports various Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
