DSSC Joins P2A First Quarter Assembly at Rizal Technological University

Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), through its International Affairs and Relations Office (IARO), has joined the P2A University Network’s First Quarter Assembly, held at the Rizal Technological University on February 12, 2026.

DSSC was represented by Instr. Jersey Krim Taub, who actively engaged in the critical discussions that aimed to advance Internationalization and Innovation while improving student and faculty mobility, together with other participants.

The assembly highlighted the preparations for the upcoming P2A Council Meeting in Da Nang, Vietnam, where winning teams from the Hackathon 2026 will be presenting AI-driven solutions for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). The assembly also focused on beneficial programs such as the IBM SkillsBuild Program and microcredentials delivered through On-the-Job Training and virtual internships.

Through its participation, DSSC continues to strengthen its global partnerships and create more opportunities for students and faculty, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). By staying engaged in international collaborations and innovation-focused initiatives, the College takes steady steps toward contributing to inclusive and sustainable growth in higher education.
