Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), through the Student Election Committee (SEC) under the Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), marked the formal oath-taking of the newly elected Supreme Student Council (SSC), Local Student Council (LSC), and Departmental officers on May 4, 2026, at the DSSC Mini Theatre.
The ceremony signifies the start of a new cycle of student leadership grounded in integrity, dedication, and service, highlighting the official assumption of responsibilities of the elected officers, along with their commitment to lead with accountability, purpose, and genuine concern for the student body.
The newly elected officers have sworn before the college’s Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAF) Dr. Luciano D. Nasibog Jr., SSC Adviser Roy R. Molina, MPA, and OSAS Director Dr. Jeric Anthony S. Arnado, who reminded the newly elected “leadership is a way of life,” emphasizing that true leadership is not defined by position alone, but by the values and everyday service demonstrated to others.
This activity shows DSSC’s support for its students and their commitment to serve, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 for Quality Education, and SDG 16 for Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
