



Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) celebrates the outstanding achievements of its Graduate School faculty members who earned top distinctions during the 57th International Convention and General Assembly of the Philippine Association for Graduate Education (PAGE) held on August 27–29, 2026, at the Lyceum of the Philippines University–Cavite.
Among the recognized faculty members was Jun Mark R. Panlaan, PhD, who received the Best Cluster Research Paper and Best Presenter awards for Cluster 8 Track D: Internationalization Strategies and Mobility Programs.
College of Graduate and Professional Education Dean, Hari G. Lopez, DBM, was also named Best Presenter for Cluster 9 Open Track Category, while Rikka Bianca Condes, MSc, earned Best Presenter for Cluster 2 Track A: Regional Program Development and Curriculum Innovation.
Their accomplishments show the capacity of DSSC’s Graduate School faculty to contribute relevant research and academic perspectives to the broader graduate education community, while strengthening the College’s commitment to academic excellence, research, innovation, and internationalization.
The Philippine Association for Graduate Education’s annual convention brings together graduate education professionals and institutions to share research, practices, and innovations that contribute to the continuing development of graduate education in the country.
These achievements reflect DSSC’s continuing efforts to strengthen graduate education through quality research, innovation, curriculum development, and internationalization. These contributions support SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting knowledge generation, academic innovation, and collaboration in higher education.
