Davao del Sur State College ROTC Unit Scores 99.30% in PAATI, Marks 8-Year Streak

Digos City — The Davao del Sur State College Reserved Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit earned an overall rating of 99.30 percent during the Provincial Annual Administrative Tactical Inspection (PAATI) for School Year 2025–2026, held on April 17 at Don Mariano Marcos Elementary School.

The result continues the institution’s consistent performance, marking its 8th consecutive year of high ratings since the establishment of DSSC.

The unit posted strong scores across both administrative and tactical components. In administrative management, the corps recorded 99 percent in office organization, filing system, and completeness of records.

For tactical proficiency, the cadets demonstrated discipline and coordination, earning 100 percent in Arrival Honors, 98.94 percent in Ceremonial Parade, and 99.6 percent in the Theoretical Examination. Other components, including Inspection in Ranks, Close Order Drill, Small Unit Tactics, Disaster Response and Rescue Unit, and weapons handling, all received scores within the 99 percent range.

The ROTC unit was led by Corps Commander CDT LTC Rey Mark D. Agnes 1CL, together with corps officers and platoon leaders from Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta companies. The inspection was conducted by the PAATI Team, headed by LTC Anwar Ray O. Celis (INF), PA.

During the program, NSTP Director Instr. Raji-Un Pedtamanan said the unit’s performance reflects the College’s commitment to discipline, excellence, and service. College President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes, in her closing message, commended the cadets for their dedication and emphasized that the achievement highlights both strong leadership and sustained effort within the unit.

The performance of the DSSC ROTC Unit reflects Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting discipline and structured training, and Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) through the development of responsible and service-oriented student leaders.

The activity was attended by ROTC officials, faculty members, and students who showed support for the corps throughout the inspection.

With another high rating secured, the DSSC-ROTC Unit sustains its track record of performance, reinforcing its role in developing disciplined and service-oriented student leaders.
