Sigasig Banana Peel Briquettes is an agri-enterprise that won the Provincial and Regional Level of the Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Program and was granted a total of Php 230,000 as start-up capital. These briquettes are perfect for cooking and are environmentally friendly and sustainable.
The agri-enterprise was created by Vannessa Joanne Jane Cahilig and Fevelyn Ecot, who are Agribusiness students at Davao del Sur State College. They were guided by their instructors, Wilmar Labanon and Aljun Nilo from IBEG.
