Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) joined that province-wide motorcade on July 1, 2026, as part of the 59th Araw ng Davao del Sur celebration.
Hosted by the Provincial Government of Davao del Sur, the motorcade gathered government units, national government agencies, educational institutions, civic organizations, and other participating groups. It was a display of unity and support for the Provinceโs founding anniversary.
Select College personnel took part in the activity along with other schools and institutions around the province. The motorcade rolled through the set routes, bringing everyone in, into one of the opening events of the provincial program.
The College’s participation reflected its continuing partnership with the Provincial Government and its support for activities that promote cooperation among public institutions and local communities.
The activity supported Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by motivating community involvement in local, cultural and civic undertakings, and Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by reinforcing collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, and other organizations for regional development efforts.
